You Could Have a Subluxation - Without Knowing it!

Do you suffer from chronic pain that just won't go away?

Do you feel tired for no apparent reason?

Your pain and lack Of energy could be the result of spinal joint dysfunction, or "subluxation". The early stages usually cause no symptoms but can eventually lead to nerve damage, if not corrected. Discover how chiropractic can restore your total health!

As your Doctor of Chiropractic, we want to help you learn how much better you can feel when nerve interference is eliminated from your spine.

You already know that when your car is out of alignment, your tires wear unevenly. Similarly, when your spine is out of alignment, your bones, discs, muscles and others soft tissues wear unevenly.

The more your musculoskeletal system is out of balance, the greater your chances of developing subluxations - or spinal misalignments.

Inside! Learns how chiropractic can help you! If you want to wake up in the morning without pain and if your long-term health matters to you…then you can't afford to ignore this vital health message.

8 Warning Signs of Subluxation

  • Headache
  • Neck Pain
  • Back Pain
  • Leg or Arm Pain
  • Joint Stiffness
  • Numbness
  • Tingling
  • Fatigue

The worst symptom is no symptom at all!

Stop the Cycle of Pain & Sickness!

Squeeze your hand tightly around the tip of your finger and hold it for a few seconds. You've just "choked" the vital lifeline to your finger by creating an "interference."

That's a lot like what happens when your spine is out of alignment. The normal, healthy openings between your vertebrae become narrow as a result of the misalignment and "choke" the nerves that exit your spine.

If this pressure or interference is not removed, subluxations can lead to chronic pain, disabling arthritis and other health problems.

The nerve roots exiting your spine branch out in two different directions. One goes directly to the musculoskeletal system and the other goes to your vital organs. When your vertebrae are not in proper position, the resulting nerve interference can impair the function of any joint, system, organ or tissue served by that specific nerve.

For example, if you have a subluxation in your neck, you may experience neck pain or headaches. If you have a subluxation in your lower back, you may experience low-back pain or pain that "shoots" down your legs. A subluxation in the mid-back are may affect the nerves that supply your lungs, possibly leading to asthma.

By correcting subluxations and eliminating nerve interference, chiropractic care can often remove the cause of many diseases and disorders.

A comprehensive spinal examination can tell us where your nerve interference is coming from. That's why chiropractic care is so important to your good health.

The Vertebral Subluxation Complex: Made Simple!

Subluxations often occur with the misalignment of one or more bones. Most everyone has heard of a dislocated joint.

That's when the bone is displaced outside of its normal range of motion and is medically referred to as a luxation. On the other hand, subluxated vertebrae are misaligned, but still within their range of motion.

Spinal misalignments or subluxations can cause a "complex" or related problems. This condition is referred to as the Vertebral Subluxation Complex, which is comprised of five parts (see below).
According to the standard medical text, Gray's Anatomy, your nerves control and coordinate all organs and structures in the body. Spinal misalignments can cause: direct interference as a result of inflammation of surrounding soft tissue. Untreated, this can lead to disease and dysfunction!

VERTEBRAL SUBLUXATION COMPLEX

Spinal Kinesiopathology : Abnormal joint motion

Neuropathophysiology : Abnormal nerve expression

Myopathology : Abnormal change in muscle function

Histopathology : Abnormal change in soft tissue

Pathophysiology : Abnormal function of internal organs and systems

"Structural" Misalignments Need

"Structural" Correction!

When your car needs to be realigned, you take it to an alignment specialist. Likewise, when your spine is out of alignment, you should be seen by a musculoskeletal specialist!

Chiropractors are specifically and extensively trained to remove subluxations and realign your spine with gentle, precise spinal adjustments. Other approaches such as massage, bed rest and drugs neither remove nerve interference nor realign your spine.

A spinal adjustment can restore spinal vertebrae to their proper position. Chiropractic adjustments provide relief from joint stiffness, inflammation and pain.

Chiropractic care removes nerve interference, restores proper range of motion to your spine and allows your body to heal itself, naturally - without drugs or surgery!
